Delivery Policy
Delivery
We aim to deliver most products, including jewellery and watches, as quickly as possible and within 7 days of accepting your order. Some items may have additional lead times due to our suppliers; these will be noted on the applicable product page.
UPS, DPD, FedEx, and Standard Insured Shipping
Selected high-value orders will be delivered via UPS, DPD, or FedEx and may require additional security checks. This could delay dispatch, and we appreciate your patience in such cases. Delivery must be accepted in person at the delivery address; we cannot deliver to alternative locations such as with a neighbour or in a safe place.
Standard Insured Shipping
We typically use standard insured shipping for delivering goods, ensuring that your purchases are secure during transit.
Lost/Undelivered Parcels
Vintage Vault Trader cannot be held responsible for parcels delayed or lost by couriers. In the event of a delayed or undelivered package, please contact us. We will liaise with the courier to track your parcel and update you accordingly. For lost parcels, we can only offer a replacement or refund after the courier confirms the package as lost, typically within 4-5 weeks or longer.
We are not liable for delivery delays outside our control. If your delivery is delayed, we will contact you promptly.
Please Note:
Delivery times may be extended during public holidays.
If your order contains multiple items, they may be dispatched from different locations or at different times.
If our product supply is delayed due to events beyond our control, we will notify you and take steps to minimize the delay. However, if the delay is substantial, you may end the contract and receive a refund for any unreceived products.
If you fail to collect or arrange for the redelivery of your products, we will contact you for further instructions and may charge for storage and additional delivery costs. If we cannot contact you, we may cancel the contract.
Refunds for cancellations will be processed on the cancellation day (if a Working Day) or the next available Working Day. The actual refund date depends on your bank's processing time, typically taking 2 to 10 Working Days.
Responsibility for the product transfers to you upon delivery or collection. Ownership transfers once payment is received in full.

Your Rights to End the Contract
Your rights to end the contract depend on what you've purchased, whether there's an issue with the product, our performance, and when you decide to cancel:
Ending the Contract Due to Our Actions
If you are ending the contract for a reason listed below, the contract will end immediately, and we will refund you for any products not provided. You may also be entitled to compensation. Reasons include:
(a) You disagree with an upcoming change to the product or terms.
(b) An error in the price or description of the product, and you do not wish to proceed.
(c) Significant delays in supply due to events beyond our control.
(d) Suspension of product supply for technical reasons for more than 7 days.
(e) Legal rights to end the contract due to our fault.
Exercising Your Right to Change Your Mind (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
Most products bought online have a 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not apply to:
(a) Personalised or bespoke items (e.g., engraved items or custom-sized rings).
(b) Earrings or pierced jewellery for health and hygiene reasons.
These rights do not affect your right to reject faulty goods.
Your Right to Return Faulty Goods
Faulty goods can be returned within 30 days of receipt.
How to End the Contract with Us
To cancel your order before dispatch, provide your name, address, and order number. Contact us at info@vintagevaulttrader.com or call our customer service between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Emails are acknowledged within 24 hours, except on weekends.
Returning Goods
Keep items in your possession and take reasonable care of them until returned. Return goods in their original condition and packaging, including the delivery note, within the cooling-off period.
How to Return an Item
Return by Mail:
Place items in original presentation boxes and securely seal the parcel in a tamper-proof envelope. Include a copy of the dispatch note.
For insurance, we recommend using a secure service like UPS, FedEx, or another standard shipping option.
We are not responsible for loss or damage during return shipping.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method after assessing the items.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
